At the time of writing this I technically am still finishing the final gallery edits, BUT, this day was so beautiful I had to share!!
As much as I LOVE long wedding day and mountain elopements, I also have a love for city elopements and civil weddings!! Most of the ones I have done so far we have had the opportunity like Clover and Wes' to do the ceremony on the gorgeous steps outside the courthouse. We got so blessed with a overcast sky for even lighting , and the most upbeat and wonderful offiant judge ever!! I highly reccomend Renee Goble to officaite your ceremony if you do decide on a Denver Civil Elopement!!
Often times with my city elopements we will end our session at a second location. The most popular being the Denver Capital. The Denver Capital has some of the most stunning architecture. Between that and its warm golden tones, it makes the perfect location for those cinematic vintage vibe that everyone loves. Plus np permit is needed to go which makes it super accessible and photography friendly!!
However, my favorite part of these days is always the in between. When we are running around the city from one location to the next something feels so romantic. You break away from any friends and family and get to run around with that just married feeling. During this time I always get to know more about my couples and truly I enjoy every moment of it. Usually in Denver you will get some stares, some congratulations and compliments, and often times a visit from some animals. and it all adds to the experience!!
If you are planning an elopement in Colorado but do not feel like a hike or care for nature, definitely consider this!! !
