Lily and Alex’s engagement session is easily one of my favorites to date.
It was peak fall, with trees bursting into the richest colors, and from the start it felt like everything aligned perfectly. Lily knew she wanted something outdoors, surrounded by nature and movement, while Alex was drawn to strong, timeless architecture. When they booked their session at Québec Place at Fairmount, a historic local cemetery, it was immediately clear it was the perfect blend of both worlds.
Without getting too far into it, after meeting Lily and Alex, the location simply made sense. There was something incredibly fitting and peaceful about it , quiet, romantic, and full of character. Add in the fact that the sun decided to show up as a paid actor (truly doing the most), and we were gifted the most beautiful, glowing light throughout the session.
We also had the best experience with the team at Québec Place at Fairmount. They were beyond kind and helpful, even driving us around to show us all of the most stunning spots on the grounds. It made the entire experience feel relaxed, intentional, and so much fun.
Between the fall colors, the architecture, the light, and Lily and Alex’s natural connection, this session felt effortless in the best way. I truly cannot wait for their wedding later this year at the botanical gardens, if this session was any indication, it’s going to be nothing short of incredible
